I work with the Farmer-Leavitt office in Phoenix and met David when he flew Dane down here and we went to a baseball game. David just exuded friendliness to those of us he met with. I could not help but notice that he spent his life in a job where he went to many places and met many people- exposing them to his obvious goodness. I also believe that God often takes the nicest and best people early as their reward for living such a good life.
Our thoughts in Phoenix are with you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4203304505499546462.post-87268188484234788512008-09-09T13:22:00.000-06:002008-09-09T13:22:00.000-06:00White Family,I met David not too long ago when he ...White Family,
I met David not too long ago when he was at our office in Phoenix, AZ. It was late in the day and he was fixing the computer at the desk next to mine. The office was quiet and I couldn't help but overhear his phone conversation with Christopher and Riley. I remember smiling to myself to hear such love in a father's voice. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. My heart goes out to you as you morn. I always trusted David with my wifes life. I am sure that the spouses of everyone that flew with him would agree. I will miss my chats with Dave at the hangar as he was preparing for the next days flight. I was privelaged enough to be able to fly co-pilot with him, and that is an experience I will cherish always. If everyone in the the world could have a little piece of Dave Whites' kindness and compation towards others, this would be a wonderful world! It is not often that you get the opportunity to meet a genuinly kind and loving person. I am forever grateful for having the privelage of knowing David White. I did not get to know him very well, but the times I did get to be with him he was very kind and showed that he cared. Two times I can think of that I had a time to talk with him, once when we were flying back from Salt Lake, last October, and as recent as early last week while I was on my lunch break at Wal Mart, as I was on my way out the door he was coming in. He always went out of his way to ask how me and my wife are doing, and I am greatful to him for that. To Dave's family, God Bless You in this sad time, remember that he will always be with you in your heart. Keep being kind and friendly like him and you will definently only be apart for a short time.
