We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We were good friends with Jared and Amy in law school and Amy was my walking partner. On such walks, I would always hear about the happenings in the Johnson family, especially with Mandy. Amy is so proud of her family, especially Mandy. She talked so highly of Mandy and was her cheerleader in all that she did. We hope that you find peace and comfort as you go through this difficult time. Our prayers are with you. Dear Johnson Family,I was so sorry to hear of your loss. It was so hard to believe but I have a calming feeling that everything will be okay and that they are all in a better place doing even greater things for others. My fondest memory of Mandy was when I was having a hard day and we were at the fair. Mandy saw me and just came up and started talking to me and just brightened my day. It was nice to know that someone out there was nice enough to take time out of what they were doing to say hi to a friend. You are all in my prayers. We will all see her again soon.
Johnson Family - as we struggle with the loss of Keith we want you to know that we are also very aware of your loss of Mandy. Our hearts go out to you. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord bless your family with peace and comfort. The Shumway's

Dear Johnson Family,On behalf of the Winder family, I'd like to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this tragic time and we hope that you will be strengthened by the presence of the spirit in these coming weeks. Mandy was a wonderful example of love and charity and goodwill towards all. She was a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, and she demonstrated her love of the Savior and the purity and goodness of her heart in her actions. She was a great friend to the friendless, a help to the helpless, and a hope to the hopeless. She has made a great impact in the lives of many in this time she spent in mortality, and her life will yet have a great impact on many. We take great comfort in knowing that we will see Mandy again and that her work is not finished. Thank you for raising such a wonderful daughter. I went to school with Scott Barney's older brother. I played sports with Scott. I didn't know Mandy but have no doubt now what kind of person she was. I am praying for all involved, including the Johnson Family and now, the Barney's as well.
Dear Families,I was deeply saddened by your losses. As I sit by the computer reading about the accident, my 10 year old son, David said "We know how that feels". We, too, lost someone in an automobile accident in October of last year. My heart goes out to you and you are all in our prayers. I did not directly know any of your loved ones, but I know the niece and cousin of two of them. I can promise you that several things will happen. You will feel the Love and Comfort of Our Heavenly Father and Savior during this time period. They will not forsake you. Please cling to that fact and know that They and your loved ones are near. Families ARE forever and you will see them again and they are waiting for you on the other side. Your heart will break at times, but your hearts will also soar. Sweet memories will crowd your mind and you will be comforted. Your community and state are praying for you and this will also strengthen you when the times are tough. Asking why does not help much, but being still does. Know that you all are in many people's prayers and hearts and you are not alone. May Father's richest blessings be poured out upon you during this time and in the future while you carry on. With love and understanding,
Dear Johnson Family,We offer our deepest and most sincere love toward you all. We extend a hand of friendship and support to you in this sad time. I was deeply saddened to hear of the news yesterday. My heart and prayers go out to her parents and family. She went to school with my children and played tennis with my son Tyler. Again, my most sincere prayers to our Heavenly Father for your family in this difficult time.
To our family in Hurricane,Words can not express the feelings of our hearts. From her first smile we have and alway will love Mandy. Dear Johnson Family-I served in Ukraine with Mandy through ILP. She truly was a constant light for us all, especially during some really hard times in Ukraine. My heart truly aches for you and this tragic loss, but the comfort of the Spirit continues to resonate in my heart as well. I know you are being cared for and lead through this grief by the Savior himself. My prayers and thoughts are with you. May the truths of the gospel, the Atonement of the Savior, and your treasured memories of Mandy bring an unrelenting comfort and healing power into your lives forever more.

My son, Kody Orton was a friend of Mandy's. She has been to our house a couple of times and I knew she was a very special person. She came to our house a few days before she left for the Ukraine and we played "Wei". Had a great time. Kody talked like he was going to try and "date" her more seriously when she got home but nothing came of it. However I would have been thrilled if it would have. I am so sorry for your loss. Mandy has touched many hearts and will be remembered with great fondness. Kris Orton (Cedar City, Utah)
I remember many times, when I would be with Amy at her house, seeing Mandy wander in always with the gorgeous smile she has. She really did seem to spread happiness wherever she was. Thanks for all the kindness your family has shown me during all the things Amy and I were able to do together. I consider her one of my good friends and pray for her and her family in this difficult time.Jeni Lemmon

Mandy is such a great example. Just a few weeks ago she thought a lesson in our young womens about her trip to Ukraine. She encouraged us to someday go somewhere out of your comfort zone and to serve and make a difference. She also taught us to make the best out of every situation and have a positive attitude. She touched everyone of us in there that day. She is a beautiful daughter of God. Our prayers are with you.Kelsey

Johnson Family,I am deeply sorry for your loss and I am thrilled to be asked to participate in the funeral services. I only pray that I might add to the service and not otherwise. I wanted to tell of a memory of Mandy. I remember when Mandy tried out for the Miss Hurricane Pageant. I hadn't seen her in a while and all of a sudden she was so grown up and beautiful. I remember watching her and knowing that she would win. She was smart and beautiful and talented. She spoke well and with confidence on stage. I just remember thinking how cute of a girl she was and how fun she must be to have for a daughter. I honestly remember thinking that her parents must be so proud of her and I hoped that someday I might have a daughter that had such a beautiful and contagious personality. I'm sure she was such a joy to raise. Your family is truly blessed to have her and the many wonderful memories of her in your lives. My prayers will be with your family through this difficult time. Bevin and SusanWe were so sorry to here about Mandy. Pearl and the family talk about your family often. Our visit to your home in the summer of 2006 was wonderful. We were able to meet your family and talk to Calvin and Beth. You have a wonderful family. It is little wonder that Byron always visited your family when he went to Hurricane. Pearl called Annie in California as soon as she heard. She in turned called Pearl Ann in Orem and I am sure many others. Know for sure that the extended family loves you and your family. We wish we could be there to ease the burdens that you feel. The Johnson family has a great legacy beginning with Warren Marshall, then to Jerry and then to Warren, and on to Calvin. These, as well as others have had a wonderful reunion with Mandy. I am also sure that Byron, Eletha, Alice, Wilma and Ida were there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.Pearl Johnson Hicks James Johnson (St. Louis)
